Description
In May 1867, the Leinenkugel family brewery was founded in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin by Jacob Leinenkugel. He was a family man driven by an iron work ethic, and he knew that his German family heritage would play an integral part of his brewery’s success. Today, the sixth generation of Leinenkugels continues to brew some of the same family-inspired recipes that Jacob poured his heart and soul into. Over the years, our family has grown and so has our brewery, but our history and heritage remain at the forefront.

This beer is an interesting experiment combining pastry Stout and Dunkel weisse. It almost kind of works but not quite. I think a little less emphasis on the chocolate and it would have been a lot better.

Wegmans can. Amber with a lot of carbonation and a large beige head. Caramel, floral hops, brown leaf, grain aroma. Flavor is grain, floral hops, caramel, brown leaf... not bad. Nice aroma, good flavor. Enjoyable.

Got this can from a wies in scranton. First time I've had a new liney in a long time. First, who ever said that there is such a thing as an IPA shandy, this is going totally too far. So we are even bastardizing shandy with IPA, come now, this is so fricken stupid. No amount of lemon can turn an i/IPA into something that is drinkable. Think about lemon pledge. Did you ever drink lemon pledge from a bottle? Well, this is it.

The Aromas are caramel malt with a little bit of toast. Flavors are almost exactly like knows, mildly sweet upfront with good carbonation and a hint of bitter towards the end. Good body, increasing bitterness with a hint of Floral in the Finish.

Barley malt and straw aroma. Golden yellow with small white head. Lightly sweet barley malt and mildly bitter straw flavor. Light body. Better than any of the macro light beers.
