Amber/Copper coloured body with a small off-white head and no highlights to speak of. Aroma of malt, faint caramel and a distinct yeastie/breadiness. Medium-bodied; Toffee flavours line the palate with some malt tastes coming through and some english hops. Aftertaste ends with the caramelised sweetness lingering with the hop bitterness prolonging the mouthfull. Overall, a good english bitter that was fairly unexpected! I sampled this on ’pseudo-draught’ at the Old Dominion Brew Festival 2004 on 27-June-2004 in Ashburn, Virginia.

Amber coloured body with a thin white head. Aroma of hops, slight malt, toffee and little else. Medium-bodied; Strong hops in the taste-some malt, and a bit of sugars. Aftertaste bittered from the hops. Overall, very nice to try! I sampled this on ’pseudo-draught’ at the Old Dominion Brew Festival 2004 on 27-June-2004 in Ashburn, Virginia.

Nice chocolate aroma. Moka head. Nice chocolate mouth, dryish, with chocolate bitterness. Tasty. 7-3-7-3-14
A deep dark stout with a thick creamy moka head. A plesant chocolate aoma with some unfortunate chlorine from rinsing water. In mouth, a rather dissapointing stout, with light chocolate diluted in water, thin and short. Boring. On tap at Barcade, Nov. 2006, 5$ pint. 7-4-5-2-11
