Bottle from Home Bargains. Pours a brownish straw colour with a large frothy white head. Sweet sugar candy in the aroma. In the mouth, malts and corn are first to reach the taste buds, but sweetness soon follows with candy, marshmallows and syrup all featuring. There’s an underlying acrid metallic feeling though. A macro style lager, but better than some – and, hey, it’s a country tick !

Clear dark yellow colour with thin head. It's fulfilling my basic need of thirst. Otherwise a fairly nondescript yet reasonable mass lager. It's drinkable.

600ml bottle from Home Bargains, Byfleet. Aroma is grainy, malty, almost smokey. With a touch of yeast. Light gold. Thick frothy bubbly white head. Light sour. Underlying light bitterness - that acridness again. A touch of citrus. Light bodied. Slick. Flat-average carbonation. Long dry finish. It's not a great beer but it's not making me angry. That's a good thing I guess.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 31/08/21. Pale washed up looking golden with a white cap that clears to the edge. Nose is cereals, grains, dusty fruits, hint of plastic. Taste comprises pale malts, vague fruit esters, grains, cereals, straw, lemon trace. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Typical country scope affair.
