Sample @ obscure lager tasting with Jeremy. Thanks Graham and Marek for this. I couldn't find the beer on Untappd so wrote no notes. Pale gold, soft oily watery body, no real off flavours but quite insipid with a mildly sweet pale malt character.

3rd August 2021. The world lager and UK cider tasting with Mat: Cheers Graham (Grumbo) for the samples. Golden, OK (ish). But my taste buds have given up after so many bland Pale Lagers, my nose has also stopped trying to find any meaningful aroma.

Dusty as fuck bottle (who knows how long this has been sat in some boiling hot warehouse). B&M. Looks decent enough. Smells like bin juice and mouldy cardboard. Tastes horrible. It’s like there’s a load of sweetener in here, although the ingredients list suggests otherwise. Anyhow, it’s horrible.

26/7/2021. Bottle received from Marek. Pours clear golden with a small fluffy white head. Aroma of sweet malt, sugar water, corn, light fruit, grass, touch of cardboard. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, oily watery texture, average carbonation. Best of the day so far.

BB 15062021 - bomber from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma of bread and unfamiliar hop. Approaching med body. A bit sweet, but surprisingly there's enough hop bitter to take care of the malt. It actually tastes good. I am surprised.

Bottle at home, Bestbefore date 12-2019, meh... Golden beer, medium head. Aroma is grain, malt, bit stale. Taste is the same, bitter, light sweet, malty, not bad actually. Expected way worse, this is drinkable.
