Taste comprises chocolate, molasses, dark malts, almond, vanilla essence. Full bodied, oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid pastry.

Bottle shared at the CBJ BIG BOOSTY XMAS tasting, thanks to lord knows who ... I'd forgotten how many bottles were flying around this night, 13/12/23. Black topped with a thin tan head that veers to the edge. Nose is roast malts, mellow bourbon, coffee cake, toffee, chocolate sprinkle. Taste comprises coffee grinds, dark malts, light spice, booze tunes, chocolate. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost and balanced barrel edge. Solid.

Draught@TCBW2023. Pitch black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice, vanilla, some honey, plum, caramel and mild toasted tones to it. Flavour is quite much following the pattern of the aroma, but also has some daek chocolate, some nutty and mild fudgey tones. Alcohol also gives a warming feel, but doesn't give a big burn still.

Draught@TCBW2023 . Goldeny orange colour with some haze, mediumsized white foamy longlasting head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is wheat, some bananas, a bit coconut as well as some clove and mild sweet grainy tones. Flavour is wheat, some sweet grainy tones with coconut, bananas and some clove and mild spiciness.

Draught@TCBW2023. Yellowish golden hazy colour with a mediumsized white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is zesty, some mild citrus with mild oaty tones. Flavour is rather sweet tropical fruits, citrus and zest with some oaty, wheaty and mild lactose sweetness to it also.

Smell of super ripe cherries. But then nothing happens after. Comes off super light in the end. Watery thin body. Light hazy pink pour with ok head. Soft carbonation. Tap at Snally.
