Cask at the pigs ear beer festival 2023. A clear straw gold coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is semi sweet, little earthy straw, hay, lemongrass, herbal hop. Flavour is composed of earthy grains, grass, lemon twist, soft cereal, herbal notes. Palate is semi sweet. Light decent cask condition. Ok.

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2023, day - London. Pours clear gold with a bubbly, white head. Light sweet flavour with a touch of butter, grassy hops, biscuits, straw. Light bodied with delicate carbonation. Decent balance to finish, notes of crispy straw, dry pale malts. Fine.

Can from BeerGB. Appearance - cloudy yellow to orange. Fluffy white head. Nose - orange, melon, dank, dishcloth. Taste - orange, but an edge of sour citric acid. And that sour dominates. Palate - light bodied, bitter and lightly sour. Overall - I'm not sure this is how the brewer intended.

Cask at Petersgate Tap, Stockport. Pours almost black with a small foamy cream head and good lacing. The aroma has roast malts and biscuits. In the mouth it is initially sweet and slightly watery with flavour of dark fruits, prunes and figs. Later on roasted malts come through along with traces of vanilla, cola and lemon. Finish is quite fruity. This is rather nice – bags full of flavour for such a low ABV.

Gravicask as PAL Citra, 4.2 % abv, at The 14th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival 2022, Marquee Bar. Shared with Finn. Hazy golden body, filmy layer, dotted spots on the nose. Subdued peachy nose. Flavoured with grassy hops joined by moments of canned fruits. Mid-dry, and rather sweet fruity ending. Approved. (Nottingham 13.10.2022).

Cask at the New Union, Kendal. Hazy orange with a white head. Chalky, herbal, pine and melon rind. Moderate bitterness. I suspect some people will like this a lot but it's just not my sort of thing.

Can ordered from Beer GB/Beer Ambleside. Aroma citrus and stone fruit, with Malta and coconut. Hazy dark orange. Thick fluffy foamy white head yearns to be set free from the constraints of the glass. Medium bitter. Tangy citrus. Soft underlying sweet fruit. Some spice. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry finish. Decent enough. Very fruity.
