330ml bottle. Cloudy, brown colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, chocolately, dark malty and fruity hoppy aroma, notes of chocolate, cocoa, red berries, strawberry. Taste is fruity hoppy and sweet-ish, nutty and chocolately, dark malty, hints of praline, milk chocolate, strawberry, a touch of honey. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and minimally dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Nice composition, maybe a tad too sweet - decent.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, dark ruby colour with small, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Rather weak, mildly smoky, caramel malty aroma, fruity hoppy overtones. Taste is mildly smoky and caramel malty, minimally doughy yeasty, subtle residual sweetness, a touch of wood ashes, fruity hoppy overtones. Slightly oily, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium, soft carbonation. Nice, rather mild composition, a bit cautious - OK.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with average to huge, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, tan head. Roasty dark malty and herbal-grassy, minimally piney, hoppy aroma, notes of dark chocolate, some dark caramel, whiffs of woodruff. Taste is bitter, roasty dark malty and bitter hoppy, notes of dark chocolate, some dark caramel, a touch of burnt coffee, liquorice, hints of woodruff. Slightly oily, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally greasy, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Balanced, drinkable, slightly Stout-ish - pretty decent.
