330ml bottle. Jet black colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, dark beige to tan head. Sweet-ish and roasty, caramel and chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of coffee, hints of dark chocolate, dark caramel, a touch of treacle, weak, fruity hoppy overtones with unspecific fruitiness. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty and slightly bitter, roasty and chocolately, dark malty, notes of coffee, hints of dark chocolate, dark caramel, burnt caramel, some hop bitterness. Slightly viscous-creamy, watery texture, minimally pungent palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Nice malty aroma, rather bitter taste - best CrossBeau beer so far, one of the few without homebrew touch.

330ml bottle. Murky, amber colour with huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Minimally papery, leafy, citrusy fruity hoppy and minimally sugary, caramel malty aroma, hints of lemon, lemon peel, a touch of lime. Taste is minimally papery and leafy-grassy, citrusy fruity hoppy, minimally sugary, caramel malty without residual sweetness, hints of lemon, lemon peel, a touch of lime, minimally doughy, yeasty overtones. Watery texture, indifferent palate, medium, soft carbonation. Not the most appealing appearance, seemingly not the freshest hops used here - meh!

330ml bottle. Cloudy, redd-ish, dark amber colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Rather weak and restricted, leafy and smoky aroma, a touch of wood ashes, smoked wood. Taste is dry, leafy hoppy and slightly smoky malty, caramel malty, hints of wood ashes, a touch of red berries, mild bitterness. Minimally oily, watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Somehow empty smokiness, a tad too dry - improvable.
