Nice clear golden coloured body with a thinnish slightly off-white head that dies very quickly. Aroma of metal, apricots, strong malt, alcohol and yes - more metal. Medium-bodied; Strong malt presence with a bit of alcohol, some light apricot and peach flavours and a lot more metal and cardboardie malt. Aftertaste has alcohol, but not overly so. More malt and metal, but once again, not horrible. Overall, according to the rankings I was expecting much worse, but wasn’t so bad, and to be perfectly honest, the 8.8% abv was pretty well hidden. I sampled this 323 mL (odd size) can, purchased from 7-11 (yes, they have them everywhere) in Singaore, Singapore 25-August-2007, sampled at home in Washington on 09-March-2009, while this batch (according to the bottom of the can) was brewed on 01-August-2007.

500 ml bottle. Apperance; light yello, clear. Not too much aroma but some malt, and you can also feel it drinking it. Some bitter finnish, not more than ok.

Pours pale yellow into a shaker. Bright white head quickly recedes to hug rim. Sweet biscuit and cookie aromas. Crisp and malty. Dry, sweet finish.

Maybe the best/ least offensive macro brew of my visit to Thailand. Light, crisp hops, malty, some bread. Refreshing on a warm evening.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts very mild, almost like water. Modest hoppy-dry aftertaste. Not really a masterpiece!

Bottle. Poured pale yellow with thin white head. No lacing. Sweet malt aroma. Flavour of malt and sugar. Not mych bitterness. Sweet malt flavour. Not sure what they were striving for here, but it’s not a helles. Not bad though, better than most pale lagers.
