4 month old pint can A: Poured a big brown frothy head atop a black/brown body with mahogany highlights. Good retention and patchy lace. S: Heavy on chocolate with bitter baking chocolate, sweet milk chocolate and coco powder. T: A tart fruity first note suggests sour berries or maybe orange. Bitter and powdery coco and chocolate then joins. The tartness and powder linger. Coconut is practically non-existent (fortunately). M: Lively carbonation, a slick smooth feel then a clean wet finish. O: Very nice unexpected tart aspect and light handed coconut make this well worth buying again.

3 week old pint can, beer labelled a dark pilsner (sorry if I miscategorized?) A: Poured a pretty clear cola-brown with 1/2 of lasting light tan foam. S: Some orange citrus, some herbs, caramel and toffee. T: Roasty flavors hit and linger. Herbal hops and faint citrus mingle and manage some balance. Light orange zest settles in for a bitter finish. M: Low, soft carbonation, light body and a sticky finish. O: Interesting and good. Not quite a schwartz nor a pils. Very nice.

Clear copper-amber color with a medium bone white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of floral hops, citrus and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short grassy and floral hop aftertaste. Decent overall.
