Schöne hellbraune Glasfarbe mit leicht beigem, fast weißem Schaum. Der Antrunk ist vollmundig-süßlich mit schönen dunkeln Malzaromen. Sehr süffig für einen Bock. Der Hauptteil ist leicht süßlich-malzbetont mit einem schönen angenehmen Herbe-Süße-Verhältnis. Schön mild-samtig. Der Nachgeschmack ist sehr langanhaltend-malzig mit schön ausbalancierter Süße. Eine angenehme Herbe auch hier spürbar. Angenehmes Mazbonbon --> Ein sehr toller dunkler Bock. Schön ausgewogen und malzig-mild! (Test vom 14.12.2008) --> 12,14,13,14,12,14 - 13,55

Dark brown colour with a quickly diminishing white head. Aroma is toasty with notes of toffee and caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet, notes of caramel and toffee are present, bready, hints of chocolate plumbcake. Rounded mouthfeel.

Nice nut brown color with short beige head. Aroma is light roast grains, taste is a bit stronger, burnt toast and mild bitterness. Palate is spot on, lingering bitterness and medium-heavy mouthfeel. Nicely done bock.

bottle from kevnic2008 - danke! Clear pale yellow, large and creamy white head. Lovely hop aroma, very aromatic with fresh hay. Elegant malt base, fine carbonation that suports the flavours perfectly. Delicious aromatic hops, grassy and resiny with a touch of hay and citrus fruit. What a delicious beer, a truly superb example of the style. Anytime again - a pleasure!

bottle from kevnic2008 - danke! Cloudy orange colour, large off-white head. Wheaty and malty with lots of yeast, pleasantly fruity and smooth with hints of banana and tropical fruit. Very nice.

bottle from kevnic2008 - danke! More a Dunkel than a Märzen with its chestnut-brown colour and its beige head. Malty base with hints of dried fruit and caramel. Dusty woody hops in the finish. Unusual both for a Dunkel and a Märzen, whatever it is.
