50 cl bottle, BBE 07/2011. Rated on 27.6.2011.
Aroma has hints of metal. Flavour has roasted, almost burnt chocolate and some coffee. Some harsh bitterness, probably because of too much roastiness.

Draught at the brauhaus
Muddy orange-blond color. It has a nice aroma, both spiced and fruity. Dry mouthfeel, but with reasonable body strength; there is a light but good malt flavor, wheat, then light spices and very light banana. The final is a bit weak, also because the bitterness is quite low. A Weizen by the book, not exciting but very well brewed.

Hazy blond color. Mild aroma of malt and common hop. Correct mouthfeel; there is a partially good malt flavor, with light residual sweetness that makes it more pleasant; correct bitterness, even without specific noble hop; there is also a light cereals character. Among German bottled beers, one of the most drinkable.

Malziger, schnell dumpf herber werdender Antrunk.

12/11/12/11/12/12

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond and tall foamy head. Moderately sweet and slightly buttery (cara-)malty aroma with bready notes and a tinge of herbal hops. Sweet and shy bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly bready malty taste with subtle fruity notes and discreet herbal accents towards the finish. Likeable. 08.IV.11
Earlier Rating: 8/15/2006 Total Score: 2.9
(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a short but stable foamy white head. Light sweet strawy and Pilsener-malty nose with a tinge of citrus and a shy hoppy background. Moderately sweet flavour with a malty base and a subtle fruity taste; dry malty, rather unbalanced bitter finish with light notes of herbal hops. Still pretty drinkable.
