Description
Don't tell him beer is a guy's drink. Marjorie Jacobi is a girl, she loves jewelry, the color purple and beer! In 2009 she opened her own micro-brewery business and joined the very closed circle of female brewers. There are less than fifteen in France and Marjorie is surely the most rock'n roll of all.

In the village of Blainville-sur -Eau, Marjorie's house can be seen from afar. Purple shutters, flashy flowers and a garden gnome perched on the window. She even renamed the street after her microbrewery: Paradise. Marjorie launched her brewing in her kitchen. The computer scientist slashes everything and becomes a full-time "brewer".

A few meters from the vats, Marjorie has opened a small bar where you can taste her beers "but not every day, because hey ... Besides, there is not much stock." Proud of its success, the "stirrer-brewer" plans to expand and open a terrace this summer. Health, happiness, prosperity! She has found her paradise.

Draft @ Brassigaume 2012.

Bottle from La Cave à Bière, Paris, bb 17 July 2014
Hazy blond color with generous compact head. It has a delicate citrusy hop aroma, with a late grassy impression. The mouthfeel is pleasantly dry, also smooth, because of the high carbonation; the malt profile is shy, a bit crispy, leaving the field for the reasonably high bitterness, the hop resins and the light hop fruity touch; long final, a bit grassy.
A rather aggressive (positively) thirstquencher.

Bottle at Brewberry, Paris. Pours a very faintly hazy gold with a small, white, creamy head. Dusty hop nose with dry pine and grass. Light sweet flavor with light, dry caramel, subtle toast, a light alcohol bump. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Piney bitterness on the finish, light marmelade, grass, toasty earth, light grain, very mild warmth. OK, nothing special.

2012-11-20, draught at La Fine Mousse, Paris, 7-4-7-3-14=35
Cloudy blond color with huge head, end of the keg. Fresh aroma of hops, some yeast. Smooth mouthfeel, spicy malt flavor, some bitter oranges, some yeast too. Good, but u wish I had an earlier glass.

2012-09-04, bottle from La Cave à Bulles, Paris; bb 12 Jul 2014, 7-3-7-3-13=33
Hazy blond color; a bit too much of carbonation, but the head is frothy and not persistent. Aroma of spicy yeast and dry grassy hops. Very strong spicy yeast flavor, and strong bitterness too, leafy hops, with some harshness in the final, and a light metallic touch (the yeast).
Had it side to side with the P’tite Sylvie, this one is less impressive, too yeasty, too rough.
