Description
Brewery founded by Gary and Diane Oldershaw but under new ownership since 2010. Renamed to their current name in early 2020.

At Zest brewery we make an excellent range of beers brimming with quality, character and passion all infused with a touch of Planet Rock!

Zest Brewery has been borne from merging centuries’ old brewing techniques with progressive thinking to deliver a range of both traditional and innovative beers of outstanding quality in cask, bottle and canned format.

The lessons learnt from our Oldershaw Brewery roots are being used to continue to look after our local customers, to start our mobile bar business offering both static pop up bars of various sizes and also a converted horsebox bar – Bar Zest – and to broaden our bespoke bottling capability.

Beers are available to trade through direct delivery and wholesale distribution. Casks of beer are available for parties, weddings, corporate events and all celebrations.

A golden beer with a frothy head. A hoppy, slightly zesty aroma. The taste matches but is ever so slightly bland. Not unpleasant, just nothing special.

Hazy amber beer, good white head. Semi crisp palate. Fresh minerally malt, nicely balanced with light orange and tangerine hops. Turns fairly soft in the mid but finishes with a carbonated snap. Fresh clean beer, refreshing. Double the hops and it would be very good indeed!
