Description
Brewery founded by Gary and Diane Oldershaw but under new ownership since 2010. Renamed to their current name in early 2020.

At Zest brewery we make an excellent range of beers brimming with quality, character and passion all infused with a touch of Planet Rock!

Zest Brewery has been borne from merging centuries’ old brewing techniques with progressive thinking to deliver a range of both traditional and innovative beers of outstanding quality in cask, bottle and canned format.

The lessons learnt from our Oldershaw Brewery roots are being used to continue to look after our local customers, to start our mobile bar business offering both static pop up bars of various sizes and also a converted horsebox bar – Bar Zest – and to broaden our bespoke bottling capability.

Beers are available to trade through direct delivery and wholesale distribution. Casks of beer are available for parties, weddings, corporate events and all celebrations.

Cask at GBBF '22 day 2, 03/08/22. Clear golden copper with a just off white cap that clears to a swirl. Nose is caramel, fruit rinds, sweet malts. Taste comprises fruit slice, hint of orange peel, straw, soft malts. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Passable ... lacks hop dynamic to call itself an IPA of any description.

Half-pint, cask, shared with Finn at Chequers. Clear amber body, dotted spots on the glass, filmy layer. Moderate ripe fruity aromas. Mixed taste of herbal hops, bread-like malts, and a citric bite. Ends dry, hints of fruity bitterness. Easy going. (Grantham 13.11.2021).
