@Manhattan Project. Pale gold, half hazy, lingering froth. Floral, really onion-y, moderate cheese funk. Taste is dry, pungent peppery cheese & super piney, with a decent dash of salt. Tight, thin, big acid. Okay.

On tap @Manhattan Project, alongside some in-house crispy fried Korean chicken Clear, honey gold pour. Corn chips & free salsa nose. Lingering, half past mild green chili heat. Tomato, raw flour, bitter corn chips, burnt onion. Liked this.

Nitro tap @Manhattan Project. Inky black, tall oatmeal slurry head. Earthy, mild, slightly wheaty, seltzer, weak, bittersweet coffee nose. Matte flavor. Dark bread, low dose medium roast coffee, touch of subliminal lactose, sweet earth, drip of scotch, bit of good salted butter. Easy.

Half pour @Manhattan Project. Dark, almost black, cola pour, oatmeal head. Reeks of the same powdered peanut butter extract everyone uses; slightly sharp & too nutty. Dusty earth, bakers chocolate, dehydrated peanut butter, oats, very minerally, slight char, quite easy to drink.

On tap @Manhattan project. Clear, copper, nicely frothy. Smell is super sweet vanilla & cooked pineapple. Bitter-veg pineapple, rum flavoring & vanilla Starbucks foam contrast the hyper crisp, grassy hops in a sort of bad way.

On tap at the brewery, July 2023; rounded half pint glass. Golden, half hazy pour. Potent onion & orange juice nose. Sizzling crispy, lingering bittergreen, fried flour, salty chips. Kinda good.

Keg at Euston Tap. It pours a rather handsome black with a thick, sturdy tan head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, rich roasted malt, dark chocolate, deep coffee vibes, fudgey, light vanilla, coconut, toffee and gateaux. The taste is smooth, rich roasted malt, a certain creaminess to it from the carbonation, bitter - sweet, dark chocolate, nutty, toasted coconut (but only mellow), dark chocolate bounty bar, touch of charred oak and spice with a rich roasted finish. Fulsome body, moderate carbonation and soft, velvety carbonation. Super rounded and moreish. Nice one.
