On tap at Manhattan Project, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is subdued, with light bourbon, and the other elements being all subdued. Flavour is bourbon-forward but also rather obscured, with boozy bourbon and muddled earthiness characterizing this. Pleasant but the barrel aging process needs work.

On tap at Manhattan Project, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out hearty oats, cinnamon, and vanilla, with a touch of lactose. Flavour is hearty, with plenty of oats, vanilla, and cocoa, accentuated by cinnamon. Not too sweet, but also not that complex. It's well-made but nothing remarkable.

On tap at Manhattan Project, pours a clear golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast, candi sugar, some winter spices, and light esters. Flavour is spicy, sweet and holiday-y, with Xmas spices, Belgian yeast, and candi sugar. Has a nice spiciness to it, along with slightly above average carb. Good stuff.

Keg at Red Hand - Dalston. Pours black-brown with a tight, creamy tan head. Light-medium sweet flavour with soft roast, some berries, raisins, minimal coconut per se, a little ash and cocoa. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Finishes with more restrained toasted malts, light bitter ash, dark chocolate, nips of earth. Solid overall, rather drinkable.

Coconut is a bit subtle which is perfect for me.

Very muted - almost tastes a bit floral and big on the coconut. Still quite refreshing.

Not too salty at all - it’s got all the characteristics of a slice of key lime pie.
