Bottled 500ml (Alko, BB 11/2011)
Clear deep golden color, small white head. Aroma is grainy, apple-fruity with hints of diacetyl. Medium-bodied. Apple, grains, rubber, uncleanish flavor which is typical to Slovakian beers, less met in Czech. Lingering sweetish maltyness in the aftertaste. Why this beer is in Alko?

Flaske 0,5l fra Alko/Muonio. Gyldenbrunt med et OK hvitt skum som varer. Søt aroma med litt frukt & malt. Myk munnfølelse. Brukbart fyldig. Søt malt med innslag av frukt. Syrlig bitterhet i ettersmaken. Avslutter tørt. KI=5

Bottle: Deep golden, some tiny floaties visible, creamy and lacy off-white head, sticking to the glass; typical "bohemian" nose: aromatic hoppy, buttery and pale malty; moderate bitter-sweet flavour; slightly lingering hoppy and pale-malty finish. Good.....

Bottle. Cloudy orange, large white head, high bead - looks as much like a wit as a hefe. Aroma of vanilla, lemon pudding, bread, cloves, a touch of banana. Taste dominated by vanilla. Quite sweet - there’s a little yeast and citrus sourness, but not much. More pears than banana in the fruit department. Light bready mouthfeel. Could have used a little tangy kick at the finish.

Bottle, labelled Premium Dark. Dark brown with a fat beige head that doesn’t last. Smells of toffee. Tastes of it too, although it’s not all that sweet. The toffee’s slightly buttery, but it’s not much and it’s not at all unpleasant. Also some chocolate, gentle roasted malt and a little metal. There’s a little grass in the bitterness at the end. Drier than most. Solid but not very interesting.
