500ml bottle. Dull gold, large off-white head. Aroma of light caramel, grass, earth and bubblegum. Rich sweetness, then solid alcohol, partially giving way to light bitterness. Some lager sourness brooding in there. Pretty good for a strong lager, but doesn’t do much for me.

Bottle. Dry, earthy hop aroma with caramel, light fruits. Caramel, raisins, and grassy hops in the mouth. Like a polotmavy with English hops (Fuggles?) Decent but rather dull. Not a bad try, but go for the Norbert IPA if you want a Czech ale!

Bottle. Pours with a clear mahogany brown body and a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate, earth, raisins, banana esters and a cloying dark fruit note. Taste is sickly sweet...and you guys complain about DFH’s big beers?! Jeez . Also molasses, syrup, earth, dirt, tobacco and rotten banana. Really cloyingly sweet! Syrupy and burning, yet still thin. Pretty rotten stuff.

Says Primator Maibock on the label. A plain old good smelling hefty beer aroma. Smells like many of their lagers, candy like. Nice looking sparkling darker than pale yellow clear beerwith an eighth inch thick creamy constantly rejuvinating head. Taste is big and bold yet avoids any of the cheap malt liquor attitudes. Strong medicine may I say. Rude, yes but with personality. Goes down fairly easy for 7.5% but it never lets you quit thinken its a high alky beer fer sure. Some CO2 but the taste bud plowing flavor puts the CO2 in the back opf your mind. Finish is medium long stronger alky finish. Definately a mans kinda beer.

Yes a typical pilsner bite which is sharp and off clean. Brown bottle with a green label. Look is your american pale lager. Clean sterile aroma. Gets more dull as the session continues. Medium length finish full of almost bitter medicine.Acceptable, went down easy.

Bottle. Pours gold with a fluffy head and aromas of grain dust and light grass. Flavor is heavy biscuit with grass in the finish. Pretty typical and nothing to write home about.

Bottle Pours out brown topped with a tan head. Aroma is heavy pit fruit sweetness upfront caramel, dark roast, chocolate, and some alcohol burn. Taste much as the aroma with a heavy pit fruit and sweet candy driven. Not bad if you want candy in a bottle.

Bottle. Gold, decent white head. Medium bead for a pils. Slightly grainy sweet and sour aroma dominated earthy hops. Taste has some firm grainy malt with quite a lot of lager sourness, then solid bitterness. Modest bitter finish has some earth and spice. Lacks that luscious mouthfeel you sometime get from these beers, but otherwise pretty solid.

500ml bottle. Clear amber; almost still beneath a beige head. Aroma has butterscotch and fruity hops. Taste has sweet buttered toffee and some pears with gentle spicy bitterness. OK, but the malt sweetness is wearingly insistent halfway down the glass and although the taste is quite like a bitter, the texture is rather lifeless even for a bottled bitter.
