500ml bottle (BB 28th Aug 2025), drank at home on 19th June 2025. Poured into a glass tankard it looked great, bright chestnut body, off-white crown on top. Malty aroma with a spicy twist, taste also malty with some dark fruit flavours coming through. Really enjoyed this one, last beer of the night.

Old rating from 03-10-15 - Tasted at the Jersey CAMARA beer festival. Pours a golden orange colour with a white head. Aromas of fruity & spice. Tastes of sweet biscuit with a fair amount of malt, leading to pine & lots of hoppy overtones. Aftertaste is a good medium bitter finish. Overall a reasonable beer but a little heavy on the hops.

Bottle from Beers of Europe, online. Pours a cloudy brown/reddish colour with small white head but nice retention and lacing. Aroma of semi-sweet light toasty malts, nuts, light floral notes. Taste of tea, nuts, caramel, light sourness, floral bitter hops. Near medium bodied, quite carbonated. Interesting certainly. A beer that grows on you.
