Bottle from Beers of Europe, online. Pours a cloudy brown/reddish colour with small white head but nice retention and lacing. Aroma of semi-sweet light toasty malts, nuts, light floral notes. Taste of tea, nuts, caramel, light sourness, floral bitter hops. Near medium bodied, quite carbonated. Interesting certainly. A beer that grows on you.

(Cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico, London, 19 Nov 2023) Golden colour with creamy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit and resin. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, grapefruit, resin, pine needles and a generous citric/piney bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and refreshing, with a fresh hop presence. Nice one.

Bottle consumed on Stornoway - Ullapool ferry Saturday 30th March 2024. Pours gold with a large white head, there is a light haze. A fruity tang and a little wheatiness, refreshing and a decent session beer but bettered by the Fyne Ales Jarl that Loz is drinking.

Cask @ Riverside, in the town of Dunblane. Dark golden with a creamy head. Quite hoppy for me with caramels evident, not particularly brown ale in design other than towards that colour. Pretty good either way.
