Description
Brewing began in 2011 using a two-barrel plant in the grounds of the Benleva Hotel. The brewery moved in 2012 to nearby premises using an eight-barrel plant.
Went into liquidation in mid-2016 after which the brand and recipes bought by Cairngorm and continue to be brewed

4 oz pour on cask at ChurchKey. Clear golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of light pepper, citrus, floral notes. Tastes of citrus, light floral notes, sweet malt, biscuit, toasty notes. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

On cask at Max’s in Baltimore. Dense black color. Smoky roasted malt aroma. Cocoa and espresso notes. Rich and creamy mouthfeel. More smoky and coffee notes in finish with a touch of vanilla.

bottle at home... deep brown ... thick tan head ... soft toffee .. soft fruit malt nose ... sweet malts .. soft toffee fruit .. soft roast ... sweet malts... soft toffe fruit .. light sweet malts ...soft oak ... light woody malts ... soft whisky ... decent enough beer .. but not sure the whisky isnt just over complicating the beer
