330ml bottle from Beerhive. Pours jet black, thin, persistent tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, whisky, wood, tar, burnt raisins. Taste is woody, oaky, booze notes, whisky, soy sauce. Oily texture, boozy, but not too heavy. Nice.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance -deep opaque black with a lovely crema head. Nose - very rich chocolate. Then booze and a dry malt biscuit thing. . Taste - chocolate but booze prominent. Wood notes too. Dry biscuit again. Palate - medium to full bodied with a creamy texture and a big rich boozy finish. Overall - very tasty but booze a little prominent. Rough at the edges. Might improve in the bottle.

On cask at the sraf. Close to opaque black with a nice crema head. Dark chocolate and booze. Rich dark chocolate with a coconut underbelly. Big tar finish. Itβs not elegant but there is beauty.

On cask at the sraf. Golden with a proportionate head. Flowers and custard on the nose. Dry green plant stalkiness on the taste. Solid and very bitter.

Cask at SRAF 2015... Copper.. Thin tan lacing... Soft sweet toffee fruit malt nose... Soft sweet floral fruit.. Soft floral fruit.. Nice easy summer beer

Cask gravity at The Bell Ivychurch. Clear gold lasting white head. Yes hoppy. Yes brewed with a lot of hops. Leafy slightly citric. Lemon. Tart hops. Decent condition. Some bitterness on the finish. Just the right side of citric. Lime. OK though. Lots of hop.

330ml bottle from (I think) cornelius. Pours a lovely clear mahogany with a thick beige head, nice lacing. Aromas of spice, light whisky, dark red fruit, cake mix. Taste us more fruit cake, whisky, light wood, rye spiciness. Very rich for the strength, long finish. Nice.

Bottle from Deeside Drinks Emporium. It pours clear deep amber with a small beige head. The nose is earthy, woody, leather, caramel, treacle, malt extract, berry and horlicks. The taste is smooth, bitter-sweet, caramel, juicy, berry, wood, toasty, jammy action, candy, leather, malt loaf and earth with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Perhaps too dry... OK fruity bitter.

Bottle from Deeside Drinks Emporium. It pours black with a decent beige head. The nose is rich, bitter-sweet, toffee, honeycomb, vanilla, rocky road, fudge, nougat, marshmallow, sweet whisky and dark chocolate. The taste is slick, rich roast, high boost, mild acidity, toasty, charred wood, tar, peppery action, whisky, burnt toast and salted liquorice with a dry, charry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice aroma, but the taste is a bit rough around the edges. Too dry perhaps...

Bottle from Deeside Drink Emporium. It pours near black with medium light tan head. The nose is toasty, rich roast, umami, charcoal, salted liquorice and cocoa. The taste is bitter, toasty, charred stuff, quite dry, burnt toast, some acidity, liquorice and earth with a very dry, charry finish. Light+ body and average carbonation. So-so mild. A bit too dry and charred.
