Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy irregular beige head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet, vanilla, caramel, milk chocolate, alcohol, dried fruits, sugary. MF: soft carbon, full body. Taste: bit sourish, some alcohol, coffee, mocha, sweet caramel, very bitter hops. Aftertaste: caramel, mocha, hoppy, coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, lots of bitter hops.

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is smoky, chocolate, tar, floral whisky, taste is dry, bitter chocolate, oak, a little thin.

bottle at home...2015... dark dark black ... massive tan head ... dark soft chocolate roast ...mellow roast malts nose ... dark roast ... mellow body ... rich malt ... big alcohol ... little boozy ... not overpowering but pretty up there. .. rich sweet malts .. big chocolate ... nice but i think it like it more blended back 30%ish with base beer.. stella says soft rubbery whisky rather than big peated ...still quite like it, and think it may age and mellow well

Handpull cask at the Waverley Bar, Dumfries. Straw colour. Slightly hazy with a rocky white head. Floral citrus with a buttery/cheesy note. The taste, however, is quite pleasant: light bittersweet fading to a slightly more bitter intensity. Back-of-the-throat bitterness in the aftertaste lingers for some time. A good drink all in all. But could be so much better.

500ml bottle. Pours clear gold with a small white head. Aroma of grapefruit. Hoppy grapefruit taste. Lingering bitter after-taste.

Cask at Market Porter. Abv 3.5%. Brown clear color, small beige head. Light malty, nutty nose. Light-bodied. Light caramel, nuts, light tartness and even smoke(!). Weirdo.

Cask at Halfway House - Edinburgh. Pours rich gold with a creamy white head. The nose has some pale malts, doughy white bread. Medium sweet flavor with sugar and a bit of toffee, faint berries, bread. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with minimal bitterness, just some ripe tangerine and sugary white bread. So so.

Bottle from Cgarvieuk cheers Craig; pitch black pour with a creamy dark mocha head, aroma has rich dark chocolate plus some dark fruits, taste has roasted malts, a hint of smoke, underlying coffee, plain chocolate, some sweetness, detect some dark fruits, cherry and blackberry, a bite of bitterness, viscous mouthfeel, low carbs, pleasant.
