On tap at Bellwether, pours black with a small tan head and an amber tinge. Aroma brings out gentle vanilla, toasted malt and crusty bread. Flavour is rounded, with medium roast, vanilla, and some dark fruits. Robust and rounded. Very good.

Draft pour at WA Brewers Festival. Had to track down a brew from these guys. Glad to finally try one. Obviously never been to this brewery. A lighter, clean copper brown pour. Cream, tan foam head. Nutty, coffee like aroma. Cool flavor front, slight cocoa, and an otherwise nutty flavor constant. A pretty typical brown for me, as most are, but that being said, it's a good beer.

Growler from Mark. Thanks dude!
Poured into a mug, the appearance was a dark brown almost black in color. A level finger’s worth of white foaminess sat atop my glass. Dissipated at a decent pace. Light lace.
The aroma had some nuttiness, light caramel/toffee maltiness and a light earthiness running underneath.
The flavor had the previously mentioned aromas to boot and brought in that earthiness to make a fine play to balance nicely. Aftertaste seemed like it leaned towards the maltier side. Finish was basically the same.
The feel was about medium bodied with a good sessionability about it. Carboantion felt fine. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, pretty nicely done brown ale worthy of having again.
