Draught at Ziya Asian Grill in Manchester 06.05.15. Clear golden. White head. Not much aroma. Or taste. Waterish mouthfeel. Waterish everything. Exceptionally low bitterness.

Bottle. Nose is cereal, grassy, some fruity esters, the dreaded pilsner cardboard. Taste is cereal, some soft fruit notes, peach, marzipan, a creamy note which I guess was the rice, the a short herbal and grain finish. Mouthfeel is lager horrible. Bought because it was cheap in Morrisons, I wasn’t expecting it to have been brewed in Palm. In fairness it’s much more interesting than the souped up macro-lager I expected, but is still not actually nice in a meaningful sense.

Pale golden, ivory head. Almost no aromas: just a little bread and a little iron. Watery and light. Metallic notes on the tongue. Very short-lingering finish. Easy to drink, easy to forget.
