Bottle from Morrisons. Given the powerful name and elaborate bottle I expected better than the bland tasting slightly dry lager that’s clearly stronger than but perhaps lesser than regular cobra. Has a weak pale golden appearance with a small bubbly head that disappears fast. Aroma is slightly sweet.

660ml bottle, freebie with a takeaway curry. Clear golden amber colour, foamy white head leaving some lacing and aroma of malt, grain, cardboard, metallic. Taste is sweetish, malt & grain, with straw, cardboard and metallic bitterness. Watery mouthfeel, light bodied, highly carbonated, lingering sweet malty & dry bitter finish. Bland lager.

Bottle at an Indian restaurant in Radlett, Herts. A golden coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Vague hoppy, citrus aroma. Tastes the same, slightly hoppy, citrus, malty. It actually went rather well with my Chicken Madras. Certainly not a beer that I would normally drink but this was the only beer that they had.
