hazy yellow colour, some off-white head; aroma and taste of malts, hints of citruses and some grass; watery APA - below my expectations, unfortunately; upadate: re-tasted in December, 2016: rotten boiled vegetables and acidic notes - disgusting and completely undrinkable despite that it will expire only in August 2017 (so, it should be ok for 8 months from now...) - this is something which you would never experience in case of a beer from a Belgian microbrewery, or even a multinational brewery - and this is why I can’t really feel sorry for the bankrupcy of Hopfanatic...

330ml bottle, thanks to Cuso! Pours murky brown with thin cream head with an earthy caramel pine aroma. Taste is deliciously slick resin, pine, caramel and bucketloads of hops. A very good DIPA.

DØE. Hazy orange with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and moderate hoppy - citrus. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 240514

Bottle. Pours black with a finger thick brown head. Aroma is sweet burned malts, with leather and tobacco. Full body with soft carbonation. Flavour is sweet malts with tobacco, leather cocoa and coffee, and with a sweet liquorice finish.

Bottle, 0.33, courtesy of Maurizio. Clear deep amber color with small creamy off-white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel, biscuits, dried fruits, resin and herbal hops. Taste starts with moderate sweet caramel, follows herbal and fruity with warming, spicy, alcoholic mouthfeel and heavy bitter finish with long aftertaste. Full body, syrupy texture and average carbonation in palate. Hoppy like hell, but I still miss tropical fruits aromas...

From tap. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Grainy and peachy hoppy. Smooth fruity. Floral. Fruity. Peachy. Grapefruity and slight bitter. Fruity. Sweet. Light peachy.

From tap. Pours hazy dark orange with a small off white head. Grapefruity. Citrusy and crisp hoppy. Bitter. Toasted and grapefruity. Breadish. Dry snd slight herbsl dry hoppy. Bitter and smooth fruity finish.

Draft. A golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of exotic fruits, peaches, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, hops, exotic fruits, and peaches, leading to a dry finish.

Draught @ [ DOE - Olfestival Kobenhavn 2014 ] @ Tap1, Ny Carlsbergvej 91, 1760 Copenhagen, Denmark. [ As Hopfanatic Bitterfly ].Hazy - murky medium red orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, hoppy, citrus, woody hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140523]
