Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him and heavy. Black coloured, medium sized brown head, chocolate and alcohol in the nose (quite nice). Roasted malt, chocolate, wood and licorice with some coffe notes in the finish. Alcohol well hidden, quite smooth for the strenght. Nice one.

0.33l bottle brought from Budapest by a friend who got it from another friend who got it for mi at Armando’s place :D. Anyway, thanks! Shared with heavy and ogivlado. Big expectations for this one after having tasted Bitterfly, but hey, the styles are quite opposite to each other, who knows what would end up. Luckily, the expectations were mostly met. Poured an opaque extremely dark brown body with a dark tan/brown head, medium sized that rose with a beautiful cascading effect. Well done! The aroma starts with raisins, light soy sauce, hmm... respectable, vague alcohol, dark malt. Hmmm.. candy something. The taste has a soft dark malt background, chocolate and vague coffee. Roasty bitterness up front, herbal.notes that got in there from the hops. Light notes of cappuccino. Lovely soft mouthfeel. Nougat? Some alcohol attack. Very respectable, not bad at all.

On tap @ F?zdefeszt 4. Black body, light brown head. Aroma of chocolate and cream. Flavor of chocolate, dark fruits and cream. The alcohol is well hidden. Very nice beer.

23/06 A 0.33 l bottle courtesy of Marko, great thanks for sharing! It poured hazy orange to brown body with small head. Fine rich aroma of fruit and caramel malts, balanced with nice orange or grapefruit hops. Flavor was a bit lighter than expected, although very tasty when used to it. Balanced between sweet malt like figs, biscuit, caramel and even chocolate and nice orange and herbal hops it basically tastes like a nice jaffa cake. Not very rich in body, just average so, but has very pleasant qualities which resulted in nice long tasty finish, biscuit with dry herbal bitterness. Lot of things here indeed. Wonderful, very close to the first rating of four in over a year!

Bottled 330ml. -from Főzdefeszt III, Budapest. Amber coloured, small off-white head, agrumy hoppy nose. Toasted malt, intensive and moderate bitter hoppy taste with light notes of caramel and tropical fruits. Pleasant finish and aftertaste, no trace of alcohol. Enjoyable IPA.

On tap@F?zdefeszt. Reddish brown colour with a light brown head. Some grass,hops,caramel and citrus in its aroma. Taste reflects the nose, lots of caramel,malt and hops. Medium body, warming alcohol. A very nice one.

Draught at the fest, murky coppery beer, slightly off white head, very good head retention. Gluey pear notes, fresh hopiness too, orange rind... the nose is full of promise. Gluey malty taste, apple, obvious work of Belgian yeast, nice, dry bitterness, notes of lime... basically a higher-tier Belgian ale hopped to perfection. The best beer at the festival, hands down. 7/4/8/4/16 Rerate (bottled):Well, I got a bottle for heavy, so I got to try it again with him. Looked basically the same, but this time I was hit by a PERFECT tropical fruit & honey aroma, with a distinct hopiness. As much as it was dominantly Belgian last time, this time the hops take over and rule this, the bitterness hits you up front, with a jaffa cakes background from the maltiness.... tropical fruit again hiding behind the IBU festival. Some apple and wood maybe... oh man this is good. 9-10/4/8/4/16
