Bottle at home, 8th February 14. 666 rating, the number of the Angry Beast! This is a nice impy, slightly thin on the mouth feel, aroma is unusual, taste is sweet, some bitterness and slightly sour. I liked it and easy drinking for the ABV

Nydelig dyft av bek, kaffe, sjokolade, lakris, vanilje og frukter. Dyp sort farge. Lire skum, brun ring langs kant. Sterk preget smak av kaffe og lakris.

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 10.5%. Pitch black colour, large and lasting brown head. Aroma primarily of roasted malts and fruity and piney hops, notes also of coffee, dark chocolate and woodwork. Smooth mouthfeel, some warmth from the alcohol. Very roasty and well hopped flavour, medium sweet, with the same elements as in the aroma, some liquorice too. Remarkably good beer.

mahogany colour, moderate off white head; aroma of figs, raisin, caramel, some yeast and alcohol;taste of caramel, biscuit, dried fruits (mostly figs and raisin again), some minimal bitterness and alcoholic notes; really great beer...though a bit expensive, but really good

From tap. Pours pitch black, tan to brown head. Roasted, chocolate and light herbal. Coffee, chocolate, bitter and subdued toffee/nutty flavoured. Lingering dry and coffee herbal finish.

Draft @ Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate and licorice aroma. Roasted malty chocolate and licorice flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate and licorice finish.

Draft. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, alcohol, liquorice, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, alcohol, liquorice, and chocolate, leading to a dry roasted finish. A bit odd on my tastebuds.

0.33l bottle. Pitch black body, light brown head. Aroma of coffee, dark rum and smoke. Taste of coffee, smoke, vanilla and floral hops. Very nice.

Fra flaske på Cardinaltreff des-13: "Del med en venn eller bli brisen alene" - vi delte så godt vi kunne. Lysebrunt skum, mil, rund og god smak, en behagelig tørrhet med et snev av restsødme. Imponerende lett for så høy ampere, her kan jordrotasjonen fort gjøre seg gjeldende hos egoister. En av kveldens højdare. Ekstrapoeng for den detaljerte forbrukerinformasjonen på halsen (maltprofil, humleskjema med koketider, gjær, OG, FG, IBU og EBC. Slik skal det gjøres! Jeg sjekket nøye, men fant ingenting av bryggerens skjegg i bunnen av flasken. Fra fat på Cardinal mai-14: samme flotte helhetsinntrykket, tørr og fin og lekkert drikkbar.
