0.33l bottle. What's the deal with the paper clip on the cap? Original. It anyhow pours a really deep dark brown almost oily brown body with a wonderfully looking big dark brown head. Looks pretty much as good as they can really. Super hoppy and really fresh nose! Did not expect such a fresh hoppy nose to be honest, cause this smells nice! Lots of fresh green pine cones here with both candy, hops, roasted malts and a little bit of sweet cognac blended in between. Quite impressive stuff indeed. The taste is even more impressive. Damn this is one tasty brew! Super hoppy and just loaded with licorice and wet dry rocks. (Yeah I know). Dry chocolate with cocoa and a mild burned smoky touch all the way. Super interesting, really tasty and just about one of the best and most interesting porters I've had in way to long. A hoppy monster, and I like hoppy monster porters. Damn good work! It's not the last bottle I'll be having of this beauty. 20.12.2013

Tap at Hopfanatic Pub, again thaaaanks Sick! :). Poured a pitch black, or so it seemed, body with an off white head. Aroma... sweetish, malt-driven, notes of milk caramel. Quite nice. More of the same in the taste, light roastiness & mild bitterness, some tobacco. Hmm, didn’t feel the fruit I guess, or missed it as I wasn’t looking for it. Who cares. This is a good beer.

At Hopfanatic (thanks Sick!). Poured a dark misty amber body. Mild aroma, light unripe banana peel notes, yeasty, grape must (?!), hoppy. Malty background supporting dry banana and caramel notes, light aroma hops. Dry dull herbal-bitter finish. Didn’t check what it was before ordering it, intentionally, guessed it was a lager, so go me. Wasn’t too thrilled, but it’s ok.

@Hopfanatic Pub. Again, thanks Sick for helping with these! :) Yellow-golden body with a small white head. Sweetish husky malty aroma, more of the same in the taste ending dry.... Something strange about it, but in good shape. Nah, not my type of lager, but price-wise, it’s a winner, and I’d have it before almost any macro lager.

On tap at the Hopfanatic. Misty darker amber body, ice-tea like, with a medium sized head. Aromatic, peachy, herbal hop aroma, light light yeasty notes, some orange peel. Lovely, just lovely soft fruitiness from the hops, my brain sticking with orange peal and peach, slightly creamy, balanced perfectly by the bitterness, which lasts long into the aftertaste. Well... I’m a believer. Fantastic beer in my opinion. Mr. Kiss knows how to make IPAs and that’s a fact.

On tap @Hopfanatic Pub, thanks Sick! Poured an opaque ochre-yellow body. Grainy, slightly yeasty generally malty aroma, banana & pear. The taste remains along those lines - banana & pear notes, ending dry, somewhat mild but pleasant, not nearly as hoppy as I’d hoped. Light bitterness in the somewhat short finish. Definitely a nice beer, but don’t expect wonders. 3.35

Bottled 330ml. -at Hopfanatic Pub Budapest. Black coloured, small brown head, mild coffee nose. Roasted malt, coffee hint of chocolate and intensive hoppy (even too strong hop presence) with bitter roasty finish. Let’s say a bit unbalanced but ok overall.

Bottled 330ml. -at Hopfanatic Pub Budapest. Hazy orange coloured, minimal white head, light fruity hoppy nose. Some notes of fruits, mild hops and grassy caramel with hint of spices in rather harsh bitter finish. Quite nice brew.

Bottled 330ml. -at Hopfanatic Pub Budapest. Dark golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, honeyish hoppy nose. Sweet malty, biscuity grapefruity hoppy and evident but balanced alcohol presence. Bitter grapefruity hoppy finish. Nice one.
