0.5 l bottle poured into a pilsen glass. Ruby red color with no head. Sweet fruity aroma and sour cherry in taste with a hint of bitterness in finishing. Light bodied and softly carbonated. Refreshing and tasty, but not much of a beer.

0.5 l bottle. Golden color with no head. No outstanding aroma. Unfiltered, hoppy taste with a long running bitterness.

0.33 l bottle. Black color with no head. Blueberry in aroma. In aroma it’s sweet & fruity at first, which turns into a bitter finishing. The high ABV is faint. Pleasant beer.

Ez igy nalam konkretan az ivosor mintapeldaja. Konnyu, de nem vizes, szinte haraphatoan komlos de megsincs “tulipázva” hanem megtartja a lageres jelleget. Egesz estes vedelős sör, a legjobb ertelemben.

Bottle at home. Pours jet black with a handsome brown head that dissipates quickly. Nose is mainly sweet, chocolate, plums, malts, and cocoa powder. In taste it's sweet too, with notes of chocolate, some booze and plum, but there's a nice, a bit black-ipaish, moderately bitter touch to it too. Medium bodied with soft carbonation, a sipper. The best Esthajnal so far and perhaps the best Szent Andras beer altogether.

Tap at Ogre Bacsi. Deep clear yella, big white head. Nose and taste are sweet, malts dominate. In taste a very slight diacetyl touch appears, but nothing too disturbing. Light bodied, easy to drink.

From tap at Ogre Bácsi. I only took numerical notes while having this one. - Revisited this in 2022, a 3-year-old bottle, what a gem. It's a full-on molasses gallore with hints of dark sugars and chocolate and dried fruits. Surprsingly sweet with a slight level of oxidation, bu it doesn't harm at all. Nice.

Bottle. Pours surprisingly clear golden with off white head. Nose is grassy hops. Taste is moderately bitter notes of grass, light citric notes. Short, pretty empty finish. Light body, soft to average carbo. Has a kinda micro beer vibe to it

Bottle shared at home. Hazy golden pour, white head. Nose is sweet, citrus zest and elderflower. Taste is sweet, syrupy, showing elderflower, citrus zest and esters. Closes with a sweet finish, has a full body and soft carbo, drinks above the ABV. Waaaay too sweet and syrupy, retaining no refreshing traits. Meh.

Bottle shared at Nyirjes. Paler brownish pour, off-white head. Nose is light toffee and chocolate with a citric tea touch. Taste is moderately intense and sweet malts upfront, then some slightly floral and fruity tea and a citric touch then. Closes with an abrupt finish, has a light, in fact too light body and soft carbo. Fun combo, with a bigger body it would've been even better.
