Description
Our brewery derives its name from the first two atomic bombs detonated at the Nevada Test Site. These two test explosions were codenamed after the military’s phonetic alphabet of the time, making them tests “Able” and “Baker”.

The experimentation at the Nevada Test Site led to the refining of the Atomic Bomb and the ushering in of the Nuclear Age. This was a notable time in Nevada as “Atomic Blast” viewing parties were commonplace and several “Miss Atomic” beauty queens were crowned. The Atomic Age influences our artwork and concepts while allowing us to give a respectful nod to Nevada’s unique state history.

Draft pour at Able Baker, Las Vegas, as part of a house picked sample tray. Really dank IPA here, plenty of citrus hops that sit above all other flavor profiles. Bitterness is heavy, but not overly intense. Some grapefruit peel. Mixed citrus linger. All bitter and flavorful. Interesting IPA with quite the bite to it. Enjoyable and unique.

Draft pour at Able Baker, Las Vegas, as part of a house picked sample tray. I cannot believe how smooth this drinks for double digits. I could cut it in half and believe it. Soft cocoa notes, some caramel malt. Late nutty reminder. Very smooth imperial. Dark chocolate brown pour. Not sure how they pulled this one off. Quintessential brown ale here.

Draft pour at Able Baker, Las Vegas, as part of a house picked sample tray. First visit! A copper reddish pour. Soft tones of dark fruit paired with a more pear and melon like note lingering. Nose is a touch metallic, amd has dark fruit tones as well. Cool finish, soft Belgian yeast. Drinks easy. Unique style to find in the desert, and well executed. Enjoyed this one.
