(Cask at Wenlock Arms, London, 8 Aug 2009) Hazy, greenish yellow colour with no head. Fruity, tart nose with fresh apples and a touch of citrus. Fruity taste with dry, slightly tart notes of apples. Clean, fresh and well balanced with just a slight touch of sweetness. Nice.

Re-rate. RBESG August 2011, The Harp. Hazy dark golden with a small white head. Aroma of apple and oak, with a touch of spirits, whisky or cognac. Sweetish but drying flavour of apple and oak.

Has at the Wenlock Arms from handpump (no abv known). Hazy golden colour, no head. Aroma is cheesy, quite much apples (sour and rotten ones), earth, mild notes of vinegar. Flavour is dry apple, some sourness, earth and mild cheesy notes. Dry and pleasant.

Bottle 50cl.Clear medium orange color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate apple, fruity, chees nortes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20090730

Bottled. Apple, ssome earth, mild yeasty note as well as cheesyness. Flavour is quite much the same. Very wellbalanced, but really I donโt fund much whiskycask in this,
