Cask at The Cider Tap, London. It pours cloudy orange, with a thin white film. The nose is apple, red wine, pink lady apple, light tartness, wood and farmyard. The taste is smooth apple, red grape, pear, some tartness, light astringency, faint vinegar and wood. Medium body and low carbonation. Smooth, well balanced and dangerously drinkable.

On tap at Craft Beer Company with Sarah. Pours a clear amber with a white head that dissipates immediately and completely. Aroma has a rich ripe apples with a bit of underlying tartness. Flavor has a nice sweet apple with a bit of tartness to balance the cider nicely.

Polycask @ Hop Pole Inn, [ Hop Pole Beer Festival & Aylesbury Brewhouse Grand Opening 2011 ], 83 Bicester Road, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England HP19 9AZ.Unclear medium orange yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy apple, sweet apple, wood. Flavor is light heavy sweet with a average to long duration, tart apple, sweet alcohol, fruity apple, apple, sweet mashed apple. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. Cask at The Hop Pole, Ayelesbury. Cloudy golden. Aroma of sweet mashed apples. The rum is hidden. Not much flavour depth, mainly sweet mashed apples and some saccharine. Finishes with some peppery burning sensation.

Cask at The Hop Pole, Ayelesbury. Cloudy deep golden. Sweet apples and light peaty whisky. Sweet despite some lemon juice poured over ripe red apples. Notes of saccahrine followed b ya light peppery burning sensation. A bit sticky.

Box@The Bree Louise, London. Hazy golden colour, no head. Aroma is farmyard, apples, mild spices and some vanila. Thick and big aroma. Jug at The Harp, London, with Mom. Pours lightly cloudy, vibrant gold with a few bubbles. Musty sweep apple aroma. Very sweet flavor with a slight, salty tang and mild must. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Faintly dry and quite sweet finish. Good apple character. Great stuff, easy drinker.

RBESG August 2011, The Harp. Cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of apple and oak, with a hint of funk. Dry and tart apple flavour with brown sugar and a touch of rum.

Aroma is moderate to heavy apple, resin - wood, tannin, oak - wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, wood, grape notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20111023]

Cask at The Southampton Arms, London. Great cider overall. Good complexity. Some sweetness, a bit of funk, light booze. Mild warming finish. Hints of spice. Excellent.
