Tap at U Šumavy, October 6th it seems. Murky dark amber-gold body, off-white head. Sweaty herbal aroma, bit flowery, big stale maltiness. Lean sweaty yeasty fruity soft taste, slightly infected possibly. Oh well...

0.75 l bottle thanks to Marko who brought it from Prague, shared with Ogi and him. Unclear brown, minimal head. Fruity flavours at first, caramel, dried fruit, ripe fruit, overripe figs, molasses. Hints of rum, some alcohol. Very spicy, some oak, tannic. Soft, strong, dry, tartness, dried fruit, vanilla, molasses. Tart cherry in the finish, with a dash of oak. Finishes tannic and dry.

Bottle from Pivní Rozmanitost. Shared with Ogi, Hrabren, Vran, Lukica, hopefully more people. Dark brown-red-amber body, tiny off-white head, gone quickly. Lovely aroma, raisins, solid maltiness, light barrel, creamy red wine. Lean taste, again the solid malty profile, caramelly, oily, berries, light alcohol. The creamy-tart combo is a bit weird, especially since the body is drier than most are used to in beers like these, but hats off to Vorkloster in my book.

Tap at BGB. Dark brown body with a lasting beige head. Smoked ham and full maltiness in the pleasant aroma. Lean taste, pancetta again on soft maltiness, some minerally, leathery notes, lightly earthy, light soft herbal hoppy note. Not much bitterness. Not bad really, not bad at all, good job to a not particularly well known brewery!

Tap at JBM. Medium body, med-high carbonation. Malt-centered with lots of clean roast, coffee, ashy, but pleasant. Med-high bitterness too, roadty in origin. Quite light sweetness and/or caramel. Easy drinking, very good.

Tap at Workshop: Kulturni dejiny piva. Full bodied, med- high carbonation. Initially lots of caramel, candyish. Also med-high sweetness. Slowly shifts into medium bitterness, finishing dry, with med-light coffeeish roast. Well balanced, rich but easy drinking. Good one.

Tap at Workshop: Kulturni dejiny piva. Rather thin body, med-high carbonation. Background sweetness, light subtle bready malt, hint of grainy astringency. Also med-light yeastiness, slightly basementy, but not in a bad way. Moderate bitterness, subtle herbal hops character. Overall really classic, quite good.
