Sweet, malty aroma with almost enough hops. Flavor quickly becomes too sweet and cloying, though, with not near enough hops. First sip was very impressive, last sip and I just wanted to get it over with. Not so special. Includes rice and starch! Come on, Asahi! Is this your premium?

Bottle. Near black with no head and slight carbonation. Sweet caramel aroma with a touch of roastiness. Flavour was much the same, with some chocolate thrown into the mix and a Camp Coffee finish. Ok.

Bottle. Very faint caramel aroma. Slight caramel and chocolate flavor. Way too fizzy and gassy. Thin too. Nothing finish. Drinkable, but not interesting. A bit better on draught. The label calls it Munich style, which would make it a Dunkel.
