Bottle: Poured a bright shiny light orangey color lager with a bubbly head with no retention and no lacing. Aroma of cheap mango flavoured syrup with too much sugar. Taste is also dominated by loads of fake syrup notes with some bad corn-like sugar. Body is light with spritzy carbonation. This one is almost closer to a soda then an actual beer.

Can: Poured a super light yellow lager with a light foamy head. Totally dominated by corn and tasted just the same as the other 9 lagers being brewed by this brewer. Can really tell this is no alcohol but I can tell it isn’t really good.

Bottle: Poured a light yellow color pils with a small bubbly head with minimal retention and not much lacing. Aroma of light corn notes and balanced residual sugars is OK. Taste is quite bland with light adjunct notes and a dry aftertaste. Refreshing while drunk under the hot Costa Rican sun but really quite bland overall.

Bottle: Poured a light golden yellow color lager with a small bubbly head with minimal retention and not much lacing. Aroma consists of light adjunct with minimal residual sugar. Taste is also quite bland with light corn adjunct notes with a smooth finish. Another boring and very bland lager from this brewery.

Bottle: Poured a bright golden color lager with a small bubbly head with minimal retention and not much lacing. Adjunct dominated lager with balanced level of sweetness. No hops presence were noticeable and complexity is minimal. Another bland lager brewed by this macro brewery.

Bottle: Poured a bright golden color lager with a tiny bubbly head with not much retention. Aroma is quite incredibly nasty – 10 times worst then Bug lime or Miller Chill – with loads of of weird lime notes with some salty notes. Taste is foul with loads of off lime notes and a very salty finish. This is not refreshing at all and definitely the worst beer during my stay in CR.

Bottle: Poured a clear black color lager with a small bubbly head with minimal retention. Aroma of light sweet notes with not much else noticeable. Taste is also a balanced mix between light sweet undertones and a watery finish. Body is OK for style with medium carbonation. I have a feeling this is the regular lager with some kind of colouring agent thrown in there.

Bottle: Again poured a clear bright yellow color lager with a medium bubbly white head with not much retention. Aroma of light corn note is attenuated by balanced sweetness. Rice provided a well balance taste with a hint of sweetness and a bland aftertaste. Body is OK for style. Not as bad as bland as it can be.

Bottle (this is going to be the first of a long list of rating for some pale lager form Costa Rica). Poured a bright golden color lager with a small bubbly head with minimal retention. Aroma of of lightly sweet adjunct and not much else is bland. Taste is also quite bland with balanced sweetness originating form adjunct. Body is medium for style with OK carbonation. Not gross in any way and I guess it is just what it intended to be.

Bottle shared by Jimmack at Paul’s gathering. Pours cloudy yellow with little white algae floating in glass. Nose is pepper, corn and stale water. Taste is mostly water, some white pepper and lots of corn. Mostly unpleasant. What do you expect from a beer that was found in the trunk of a car in a junkyard?
