Can picked up at Fresh Market in Costa Rica. Pours clear light golden with a small white ring, no lacing. Lemon lime, light grains, salty. No bad, might hit the spot on a hot day at the beach.

I picked up a 12 oz bottle of Pilsen today from a roadside restaurant outside Puntarenas. The bottle cap lifted, I pour into a glass provided on our ship in the room. A clear, yellow liquid with a steady top of quite fine, solidly white bubbles. It has your basic beer smell, all right by me. The taste is straw, grain, metal and water. Not a bad beer, somewhere in the middle against its peers perhaps.
