Sample thanks to Grumbo, cheers Graham! Golden colour, bubbly foamy white head and aroma of malt, corn grain, fruity, yeasty. Taste is sweetish, grainy, fruity, with some grassy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. OK

3/5/2021. Bottle from Marek. Cool special edition Unite A Moviembre bottle. Pours clear golden with a frothy white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, corn and grass with light herbal and sulphur notes. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, watery texture, soft carbonation.

My first Costa Rican beer, I located it at the only craft beer store in the Permian Basin. Using a glass mug for this sampling, the pour arrives a bright, clear yellow followed by a substantial head of snow white foam. I get a smell of corn and other grain. And it has an inoffensive taste of water, corn, light malt and just a touch of citrus. Think I’ll add a squeeze of lime later. Best served cold, very cold.
Visiting family in CR and my nephew bought this for me since he thought it was a new beer. But it looks like it was around a few years ago but since then retired. Similar to the lower abv version. But the addition abv also added body and flavor. Not bad. I'll have to try a few more to be sure....
