Bottle picked up from somewhere in France, probably St Malo and consumed at home after a hard day ponding and now making a Lamb Keema with Chapati and Potato Koftas, Sunday 23rd July 2017. Pours mid to dark brown as opposed to amber, hazy with a white head. Malty and a bit fruity, a tad bland but it’s ok. Fine. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Bottle from a French supermarket. Poured a hazy medium amber with a fizzy, short-lived white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is yeast, big strawberry fruit, creamy caramel. The flavour is moderate sweet with a crisp fresh, fizzy, tart citrus fruit, hop bitter palate and a bubbly mouthfeel. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle picked up directly from the brewery and consumed at Camping Trezulien, Douarnenez, Brittany, Saturday 17th June 2017 Pours reddy amber with an off white head. This is a malt led beer, plenty of caramel but a little hedgerow berries. A little woody, fruit comes again, it’s fine. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Bottle from Britt Brasserie and Brewery in Tregunc, Brittany, France, consumed at Camping Brehadour, Guerande, Brittany, Thursday 15th June 2017 Pours amber with a white head, hazy appearance. A little light toffee, tastes thin and yet it’s 7.7%, yes toffee and caramel are the only real things that I can detect here. A complete lack of hops it’s ok at best. A6 A3 T5 P3 Ov11 2.8
