Bottle from the Britt Brewery, now having at the Campsite Do Mi Si La Mi, Quiberon, Brittany, France, Monday 12th June 2017 Pours light amber in colour with a white head, it’s a bit of a departure going to this from the Brewdog Jackhammer which at less than £2 a popular from Tesco is rapidly becoming a go to beer. It’s actually quite fruity but with a good yeast edge, it’s like a Belgian style IPA. A7 A3 T7 P3 Ov14 3.4

Bottle @Gatta Mangiona (Rome). Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione media. Anonima, manca totalmente di spunto.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 25A, adapted). Bottle 33 cl - Batch DD127-128F3 (BBF 10/03/18). AROMA: moderate cereal hull flavor, with faint phenolics (clove) and slight sweet malty background. APPEARANCE: deep gold color and clear. medium white head with medium-low retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with notes of cereal hull and some faint toasty malty-sweet background. medium-low bitterness with a dry finish. PALATE: medium body with a slight creaminess. astringency present. OVERALL: a Blond Ale-type beer with excessive cereal hull presence, leading to taninnic astringency.
