Bottle: Poured a deep burgundy/copper color ale with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt notes with some residual candi sugar notes and light spices notes also perceptible. Taste is also a mix of caramelized malt notes and candi sugar notes with some dry raisins notes and light spices. Body is about average with godo cabronbation. Solid rendition of a Dubbel with a nice mix of complexity of flavors and drinkability.

Bottle: Poured a dark brown color ale with a large light brown foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt with some dry raisins notes and light spices. Taste is also a mix of caramelized malt with some dry raisins notes with some spices and residual sugar notes. Body is full for style with good carbonation with some very faint warming alcohol notes. Well brewed Belgian style ale.

Can: Poured a clear golden color ale with a medium size white foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of light cereal notes with some residual sugar notes. Taste is a mix of light cereal notes with some residual sugar notes. Body is full for style with good carbonation. Enjoyable pilsner but a bit too sweet for my taste.

Taste is also a mix of hoppy floral notes with some light dry hoppy notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable pale ale with nice use of NZ hops.

Taste is a mix of dry fruit notes with some chocolate notes, some residual candi sugar notes. Body is pretty full for style with good carbonation with no real apparent alcohol notes. Solid Belgian ale with good drinkability.

Taste is also a mix of dry caramelized malt notes with some grainy cereal notes and light roasted malt notes are also detectable. Body is a bit light for style with good carbonation. Lacking some smoothness but enjoyable nonetheless.

Agrumes aux notes de pamplemousse, zeste de citron, résine de houblon relevant d’un dry hop et malts légèrement miellés sont la résultante d’un olfactif plutôt houblonné. Énorme mousse de style crème à raser qui tient plusieurs minutes. Liquide jaune paille presque limpide et fortement effervescent. Bien houblonné en bouche avec une subtile base maltée et une finale bien amère. On y retrouve du pamplemousse, un soupçon tropical et surtout une amertume résineuse et herbacée qui traine longtemps en arrière-bouche. La base maltée est subtile, légèrement miellée et sucrée. La corpulence est moyenne et l’effervescence assez élevée ce qui rehausse son indice de buvabilité. Gouteuse, bien amère et fortement carbonatée sont les éléments qui garantissent un indice d’appréciation élevé. O:7.5 V:4.85 G:7.48 C:4.05 G:16.0 T:39.88
