Bottled (backlog). Rubyish brown colour with a mediumsized beige head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet malts, nuts, some spices, yeast and also a wee bit of ripe fruits and alcohol. Flavour is sweet malts, alcohol, some yeast, spices and dried fruits with mild nutty and some burnt sugary notes.

Typique du style, c’est assez mince en bouche. C’est plutôt malté, ce qui surprend. Ça goûte un bon mélange d’agrumes, d’abricots et de houblons frais, et ça laisse une belle sécheresse en finale. Bien faite mais peu hivernale ;-)

From my hermano: pours lightly hazy, light gold with a white head. Aroma is banana, spice, fleurs, and light fruitiness. Taste is pretty sweet... lingering sugary aftertaste. Medium body. Fleurs in the taste. Not really my favorite.

From mon frere: pours black with a small head. Aroma is chocolatey, sugary, malty. Taste is kind of sweet... not cloying. Some chocolate. Smooth and creamy body. Not huge on flavorside. Pretty light for an IS. Not bad.

Bottle: Poured a bright amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light fruity ester with some citrusy hops notes and Belgian style malt notes. Taste is a mix of residual sugar notes with some fruity ester and some Belgian style malt with nice floral citrusy hoppy notes with limited bitterness. Body is full with good carbonation. Enjoyable with nice little Belgian spin on the style.

Belle mousse d’un blanc immaculé, qui laisse émaner des arômes de levure Belge... En bouche, la levure, le poivre et la gomme balloune sont notables. Le nez était de bons houblons aromatiques. Belle concoction mais quelques 8-10 ans en retard selon moi...

BOTTLE 500 CL shared. Fruity, caramel and spicy winy notes (that get lost as it warms up), a bit of toasted grains. Light fruity estery notes, simple candyish sugars, light spice. Decent.
