opalescent pale yellow colour, large white head; aroma of bread, apricot, intensive Belgian yeast, cheesy notes, maybe some citruses and floral notes, too; taste is the same with the dominance of yeast and fruitiness; extraordinary tripel!

Bright clear amber beer, decent cream colour head. Palate is light, slightly dry and decent carbonation. Malts are sweet, some thin malt cream. Mild hop spice and pine. Smooth orange, floral orange and light orange peel. Light spicy finish. Some alcohol showing through but no heat. Drinkable but could do with more hop intensity.

750ml bottle (4/2016 I think) from Gatineau Broue Ha Ha at home in HK. Hazy golden pour with very big puffy dense head with lots of structure. Aroma is not that strong - maybe the beer isn’t super fresh? - bitter Belgian notes. Taste is bitter, spicy, sweet grain, stone fruit - more sweet than tart. Very balanced and certainly, as others note, doesn’t seem like it’s 10% despite the boozy finish. Not as hoppy as I expected unfortunately, and not a style I tend to enjoy, but a nicely balanced very elegantly crafted beer.

Bottle shared with Inoven, TomHendriksen and Roelzie1986 @ random tasting. Very nice deep dark red-brown color with a medium sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, some milk chocolate, lightly dusty, lightly bitter, slightly toasted malts. Decent to medium body, decent carbonation. Ok beer.

Flarra. Doftar milt av hav å lite trä. Omedelbart i munnen medelfyllig viss sötma. Sötman smakar Titti frutti. Hallonbåtar . Sen kommer jaaa klassiska Dipa smaker . God frisk Dipa . Dock något söt å tuttifruttig för att få topp betyg.

750mL bottle, very generous extra from JulienHuxley. Can’t quite make out the date, as it’s badly smudged, but it’s sometime in 2015, I believe. Drunk 6/9/16.
Massive, overflowing, light beige head that is very well-retained, tops a ruby-tinged mahogany/beige body with good clarity.
Brown sugar, brown bread, hazelnuts, vanilla, clove, black pepper, honey, the list goes on, as it should for a Belgian Strong ale, which showcases both specialty malt and yeast (as well as some spice here). It all works in a pretty harmonious balance, the more "dry" phenols and spices winning out, but never out-of-balance. Tons of fruitiness (red fruits) is highly enjoyable and bright and there’s no sign of booze or any astringency. The esters are clean and the aroma is just all-around well-executed.
Rich honey, brown bread and light cinnamon all combine with a strong sense of balance. Dries out considerably on the end with light fruitiness, some earthy, crunchy cereal-like notes and light hints of vanilla. Maybe just a bit more clove-like character than I’d like, overall, but that’s really the only complaint here. The carbonation and malty texture are both perfect as are the classy esters. Even the spice, which is moderately apparent, is a welcome complexity and blends in/matches with the phenols and malts. No alcohol either. Great balance.
