22oz bottle from Squatters
Appearance: Crystal clear copper with a nice off-white head and some lacing left in the glass
Aroma: Caramel and spices (Manuka)
Taste: Slightly sweet malts and spices
This is a very unique and good beer. Clean and crisp. I like the Manuka spice, it provides some nice bitterness.

12oz bottle. Slightly hazy orange-tan. Thin, creamy head. Fresh citrus, apricot, tangerine, peach. Smooth, rich mouthfeel. A pretty nice DIPA, very clean for the style. It still has some thick and resiny hop tones and big malt sugariness, as per the style, but really comes off balanced. Clean, straightforward, perfectly executed.

Sampled from the bottle at 2010 FOBAB. Poured a clear reddish brown with a yellowish brown head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma had a note of slight tart cherries with light grain and a bit of acid. Flavor was a bit thin with growing slightly tart cherries and a grain backing.

Sampled from the bottle at FOBAB. Poured a clear gold with a slight orange hue and a white head that dissipated slowly to the edges. Aroma had a nice sour note with lemon and a bit of funk coming through. Flavor was slightly astringent with lemon in the start but mellowed a bit towards the finish. Champagne mouthfeel made it seem a touch thin.

Bottle - thanks to my generous pal Eric. Pours a very dark brown with a finger of creamy brown head. Nose is roasty with a bit of char and some bittersweet cocoa. Creamy mouthful is again roasty, a bit of ash, molasses, and bittersweet chocolate. The heavy roast/char is working very well with the sweetness and hints of bitters. Well done.

Bottled, halloween tasting @ cgarvieuk. Unclear light yellow, greenish colour, fluffy white head. Aroma is sour malty, barnyard, bit of vanilla, tart fruity. Flavour is sour, light malted, hint of citrus, white wine and vanilla, medium carbonation. Dry finish. Superbly balanced.

Bottle at Craigs big Edinburgh tasting, this bottle courtesy of ’Craig’, thanks mate. Shared in company of Craig, Stella, Jan, Charlotte, Fritz and Loz 30.10.10 Pours cloudy lemon like that first trip to the loo in the morning sort of colour but there is a bigger head on this. Superb nose, lemony, furry, jiffy, funky. Taste is jiffy lemon sourness, very farmhouse style, good palate cleanser. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 4.0
