33 cl. bottle @ home. Pale yellow with a white head. Malty aroma. Thin pils taste with a thin body. Really short aftertaste. Forgettable pils.

May 2009: Really pleased when I found this beer on the holiday island of Skiathos, thought I’d found a gem, sadly it didn’t go down that well. 500ml can with 18 months life left, poured into two tumblers on the balcony of my Studio, what a view. I was expecting a lovely deep dark golden Dortmunder Export, I got a pale pilsner looking body with a good white head on top, pale even for a good Dort. No aroma, not even a hop or malt to be found. Dry and boring, weak hop and yeast flavours, but you have to rweally search for them. I thought it thin and watery for a 5.0% beer, it lacked something. Not enough body or depth. A poor Dort in all respects.

Updated rating. Bottle @ holiday weekend in Germany. Clear yellow golden color, medium sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is quite refreshing, some malts, hops and a bit hayish. Taste malts, hay, light bitter hops, light bitter. Decently refreshing.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dagan’s place. Thanks troubles. Clear golden. Aroma of malt, graininess and a bit of metal. Sweetish grainy flavor with a drier and slightly metallic finish. Light-bodied.

Yay, I really didn’t try this! Eh, right, Café Wagner, Jena. Generally aroma free, maybe some malt. Taste-wise it’s water flavored with something bitterish, maybe herbal. Let’s call that hops. Nothing else. Meh, cheap.
