Cask-conditioned, at the Lime Kiln, Bristol, 2/10/2017. Deep gold in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. Leafy hops, some stone fruits and ripe, digestive, malts, before a pleasantly bitter finish. Good.

500ml bottle: BB 16th May 18. Drank at home on 23rd Oct 17, obtained from Beers of Europe. Nice amber/brown body with a full and lasting head. Decent blend with a good malty base which holds a little sweetness, the hops adding a fine bitterness. Easy drinking traditional English Bitter, liked it.

Cask at Hopmaster General, Rushden. Light to mid-gold, slightly hazy. A film of white head on top which leaves a fair bit of lacing. A light aroma with some kumquat and melon notes. There's some leafy hop flavour mid-sip, but the taste is malt-led, bittersweet and earthy. Light berry notes on the aftertaste. Fairly simple stuff, but it's in perfect condition which makes me appreciate it that little bit more.
