Draught @ McSorleys Old Ale House February 2013. A cheeky tick as cannot recall much about it.

Draught from the place. Dark pour duh. Hints of nuttiness and malt. Goes down quick because that’s what they want.

From the bar. Yellow orange. Foamy. Some grains. Nothing special here. Designed in bulk.

On tap. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has light sweet grains, a bit of bread and a slight creaminess. Flavor is similarly bready with some sweet grains and a hint of cookie coming through.

Tap. Black color with off-white head. Aroma is chocolate, grains, sweetish. Taste is the same. Velvety mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Better than expected.

On tap at McSorley's Ale House (Macau), pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out syrupy caramel and bready malt, with a sort of malt liquor character. Flavour is weak and vegetal, with bready malt, some syrupy notes, and boiled vegetables. Not too pleasant at all, but I gotta tick something in this beer wasteland, don't I?
