Cask at the 21st Egham Beer Festival. A dark amber colour with a loose white head; spicy toffee aroma; and a delicious bittersweet taste with lots of flavour; then a dry malty finish. Rather good.

27th June 2015: hand-pulled half pint in The Bacchus, Birmingham City Centre. Ruby hue to the dark amber body, the head off-white. Biscuit like malt lead in both the aroma and taste, semi-sweet with very little bitterness. OK rather than ’cracking’.
