$2.49 can from Total Wine in Gainesville. Pours amber with a ginormous head - way too big for how little I've poured - does not give me hope this is fresh. Aroma is sweet floral hops, caramel, light orange peel. Flavor is orange peel, floral hops, caramel, brown leaf, honey. Pretty tasty, and my worries about freshness were unfounded. This is good.

From a branch of Total wine in Sterling, Virginia. Deep amber in colour, with moderate carbonation. Light, citrus hops, rich, slightly toasty malts, red berry fruit sweetness, hint of caramel richness and lingering, dryish finish. Good.

The aroma was malty and a bit woody with bread crust, faint vague fruits and touches of caramel and alcohol. The flavor as malty and a bit toasty with alcohol, bread crust, cola and cherry.
